H&M Home is Almost Here!

I'm super excited! The wait for H&M Home is almost over! You heard right, H&M Home collection will be opening at the Toronto Eaton Centre!

If you're a regular shopper at the Eaton Centre, I'm sure you've noticed the renovation happening at H&M. Mark your calendar, the newly renovated Canadian flagship store in the Toronto Eaton Centre will reveal its whole new look on Thursday, February 25, 2016.

Part of the new look will be the very first store in Ontario to carry the highly anticipated H&M HOME collection. The home collection follows the H&M business concept of fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way and combines interiors and design with a board range of textiles and decorative items. The collections available cater to the living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, kids as well as seasonal/holiday interior items.

The flagship store will cover more than 58,000 square feet and will be one of the top ten largest H&M stores in the world!

Diesel 2016 Spring Ad Campaign

Diesel's latest advertising campaign for Spring 2016 is all about social media. From following, "liking", emojis, swiping right/left, snapchatting, texting to selfies, it's very clear who they're targeting. Reflecting the internet culture, the campaign is appropriately called "#dieselhashtag" and incorporates all the ingredients necessary for a viral sensation among the youths.

Diesel is using cheeky slogans, custom emojis, scantily clad models and one face you'll might recognize in the ads for the menswear is Joe Jonas alongside his cool new DNCE band members.

In the video components of the campaign, references to Tinder, Instagram and Snapchat were obvious. They are also entering new platforms to share the news, including Grindr, Pornhub and YouPorn (for their initmates collection). You can check out some of the #dieselhashtag videos on their YouTube page here. Diesel is definitely embracing the digital age with this latest campaign.

Diesel's artistic director, Nicola Formichetti, explained, " What we see in advertisements is just selling fake dreams, fake things, this impossible beauty. I think we have to be honest. Yeah, this is an ad, we're selling shoes. But it's in an interesting way, and people smile."

HBC Collection X Herschel Supply

Exciting collaboration news! Hudson's Bay Company Collection has partnered with global accessories brand Herschel Supply on a limited-edition, five piece collaboration of travel essentials that will launch in Hudson's Bay stores and on on February 16, 2016.

What a great collaboration! I'm a fan of the HBC Collection and LOVE Herschel Supply products! 

Each piece in the collection combines the iconic Hudson's Bay stripes with premium Herschel Supply finishes, including vegetable tanned leather and blue chambray liners. The collection will range from $50 - $135 CDN. 

The collection includes popular Herschel styles, such as the Heritage and Little America backpacks, the Chapter travel kit and the Novel weekend duffle. The range also includes a scaled-down rendition of the Heritage backpack sized for children ages 3-6.

Not that I need to any more bags - but looks like I must add these to my collection : ) What do you guys think of them?
