Make the World a More Accessible Place with IZ

I love it when fashion gives back. Izzy Camilleri, renowned Canadian designer founder of IZ, a provider of sophisticated and functional clothing for people using wheelchairs, is proud to announce a new campaign to raise funds and awareness for accessibility called 'Access10'.  With every product purchased from the company, IZ will give 10% of its total gross sales towards projects including building ramps in communities across North America.

IZ’s Fall Collection is sexy and edgy pieces are cut to accommodate the frame of a seated person.  The collection features modern wardrobe essentials including an array of chic coats, capes and jackets, business attire and casual clothing with quality fabrics that look beautiful and feel luxurious. Unique and discrete functionality details like wrap-around waists, or open-snap and easy-zip back styles, make clothes easier to get into. Garments feature signature cuts and styles to fit a seated frame, falling and draping naturally without interfering with wheelchair mechanics.

I had no idea/never thought about all the different details required - Thank you and congratulation Izzy for creating a beautiful collection - you can check out here. NOTE: 10% of its total gross sales will go towards projects including building ramps in communities.
As part of the campaign, Camilleri has designed a custom ‘Fashion IZ Freedom’ t-shirt, to give people with all abilities the chance to support and share IZ’s message. These stylish t-shirts available in grey and dark charcoal, come prewashed for that soft, ‘favourite t-shirt’ feel.  The t-shirts can be purchased online and 100% of all profits will go towards the company’s mission of making the world a more accessible place.  Click here to purchase your ‘Fashion IZ Freedom’ t-shirt today!
Thank you to Storia PR for reaching out and asking me to take part in this great campaign.
Once you get your ‘Fashion IZ Freedom’ t-shirt, make sure to take a "seated selfie" to raise awareness and together, we'll make the world a more accessible place. Post it to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, tagging @IZadaptive and #fashionizfreedom. Here's my:

And of course, I have to include the t-shirt into my 'Stuff I Wore' outfit posting:
